When the room box (STB), identifies the inserted Disk-On-Key it will mark the room number and the time on the key. This will limit viewing time to 24 hours or other set time. It will avoid playing the movie in other rooms.
The STB will allow, through the remote control to play the movie as a regular DVD disk including Pause, Hold, Forward and Backwards.

The most disadvantages in this system are that there are a limited copies from each movie in the vending machine. The Movie-Key system will allow to load any numbers of copies to any numbers of DOK's. The room box will be supplied to customers free of charge. After watching the movie the content of the DOK will be erased automatically without taking it back to the vending machine.
